"Over the last few months New Practice have been reflecting on the engagement process, from large public consultation events through to stakeholder interviews. On the back of these reflections, we are reaching out to different organisations that we think practice in an exemplary way to discuss engagement through a series of broader themes, the output of each will be collated into a webspace to be publicly accessed. This is Potluck."

INspire West Lothian (Wed)
INspire aims to promote greater pupil autonomy in their learning journey.
We aspire to do this through:
• sharing open-ended challenges that can stimulate motivating learning contexts
• developing broad pupil communities to enable sharing of ideas, peer-to-peer support and challenge
• connecting like-minded teachers and facilitating open discussion around INspiring practices
IDL Education Scotland
Scotland has always had Interdisciplinary learning (IDL) as a component part of the curriculum offer – it sits as one of the four contexts.
Over session 2019/20, Education Scotland has worked with https://notosh.com/, practitioners and partners using a design-thinking process to understand how we can realise our ambitions for IDL.
This website has resources, articles, and case studies.

Your Place for Learning
Places for learning have been different in the last six months and they will still be unusual in the coming months. What has your experience been? Did you miss going to school? Was there a good place at home for remote learning? What if we can use this experience and design better places to learn? What would your design look like? You are the experts. Please share your ideas with us.
Six words challenge
This challenge was the stimulus for the Engagement, Disengagement, & Pupil Voice project. It's a simple yet complex challenge that would work with anyone - from 4 to 104. It asks us to be brave, to re-imagine, and to create a new schooling experience. Send us your creations and we will add them to the Look-Out Tower.
Informed Scotland

Informed Scotland learning & skills digest aims to encourage and make it easier for busy people to look beyond their immediate sector/subject/silo, to make connections and learn from others dealing with similar issues in different circumstances. It highlights the wide range of partnerships and knowledge exchange happening right across the learning & skills landscape. And it looks for emerging patterns and common themes, for what’s new and innovative, and for the creatively brave, unique and quirky.
